For Etsy printable sellers

Turn one artwork into every Etsy print size.

Drop in a design and get 2:3, 3:4, 4:5, 11:14 and A-series files zipped to Etsy's limits — 300 DPI when your art has the pixels (Free files stop at 3600 px). Pro adds full size and a size guide for your buyers. It all runs in your browser, so your art never leaves your device.

How it works

  1. 1

    Drop your artwork

PNG, JPG, WebP or HEIC, any size. We read the pixels right here in the tab.

  2. 2

    Check the crops and badges

One preview per ratio. Drag the artwork to choose what's in the frame, or switch to Fit + pad. Badges tell you honestly which sizes are print-ready.

  3. 3

    Export the Etsy-safe pack

Print-size files with DPI metadata, zipped under 20 MB each — the shape of upload an Etsy listing accepts.

Which sizes, and how many pixels each needs: the Etsy wall art size guide, the print size chart and every print ratio.

What's in the pack

  • Five ratio files that cover every standard frame: 2:3, 3:4, 4:5, 11:14 and A-series.
  • DPI metadata in every JPG and PNG (300 for full-size files), so print shops don't second-guess the size.
  • ZIPs bin-packed under Etsy's 20 MB limit, with a warning if a pack needs more than five files.
  • A customer size guide PDF and a "Sizes included" listing image (Pro).

Frequently asked questions about resizing wall art for Etsy

What sizes should I include in an Etsy wall art listing?

Five files cover almost every frame a buyer owns: 2:3 (4×6 up to 24×36), 3:4 (up to 18×24), 4:5 (8×10, 16×20), 11×14, and an A-series file for buyers outside the US. Export each at its largest sharp size — buyers print smaller from the same file — and FrameReady picks that size for you.

Is my artwork uploaded anywhere?

No. Reading, cropping, resampling and zipping all happen in your browser using Web Workers. The only network requests FrameReady makes are for the page itself, anonymous usage events (no cookies), and — if you buy Pro — validating your license key.

What does 300 DPI mean here?

It means the file has 300 pixels for every inch of the print size, so a 24 × 36 in file is 7200 × 10800 px. We write each file's real DPI into its metadata — 300 for full-size files, the true lower figure for a Free file capped at 3600 px — so print shops recognise the intended size.

Why does a size say "Enlarged"?

Your art doesn't have enough pixels for that size at 300 DPI, so we enlarge it with Lanczos resampling, which looks a little softer up close. Past 2× we mark it "Too small" so you can decide. Each ratio exports its largest sharp size unless you pick a bigger one.

What are Etsy's digital file limits?

Up to 5 files per listing, 20 MB each. FrameReady packs your files into ZIPs that respect both limits, and lowers JPG quality a step if a single file would break 20 MB.

Can I use this for Shopify, Gumroad or Creative Market?

Yes. The files are ordinary JPGs or PNGs with their DPI in the metadata. Only the ZIP packing rule is Etsy-specific, and it does no harm elsewhere.

What's the difference between Free and Pro?

Free exports every ratio up to 3600 px on the long side (12 in at 300 DPI). Pro, a one-time $19, unlocks full size up to 24 × 36 in / A1, batch export, the customer size guide PDF, the listing image and custom file names. Changed your mind? You have 14 days to get a full refund, no questions asked.

Does it work on an iPad or iPhone?

Yes, with one limit: Safari on iPhone and iPad caps an image at about 16.7 megapixels (an area, not a side length), so the biggest 2:3 file there is 3344 × 5016 px, about 11 × 17 in at 300 DPI. For full 24 × 36 files, use a desktop browser.
